NEXUS…connecting people to people

supporting creating thinking talking
NEXUS is a new way of providing help, support, encouragement and information for people who are experiencing mental ill-health.
Everyone has different needs and we all wish to accomplish different things, but NEXUS is about bringing people together, for mutual back-up and understanding of the difficulties and issues facing us in life today.
NEXUS aims to connect people to what they want to do with their time and with their life.
NEXUS…connecting people to activity

We know that activity means different things to different people and we all like a change from time to time. NEXUS aims to have varying activities to suit the interests of members at the centre. Examples include, quiz nights, relaxation, healthy eating, art and crafts, sign language, photography, computing, in fact, something for everyone.
NEXUS…connecting people to facilities
The King Street Centre is centrally located in Peterhead, within easy reach of public transport. All the facilities are on one level and full wheel chair access and disabled toilets are available. Hot and cold drinks can be provided at a small charge. A kitchen area is available to all NEXUS members.

If you are interested in volunteering at NEXUS, please see our Vacancies page for details of any available volunteering opportunities.
